There are always some variations depending on the temperature, but morello cherries normally flower in the first half of May. Apples and pears approximately 2 weeks later.
Lofthus Camping is located about a 300m walk down to the lake. We have fantastic views of the fjord, the glacier and the mountains!
The campsite opens on May 1st every year. The large family cabins can be rented on request outside of the season.

Only in our smallest cabin types without a bathroom do we allow pets.

We do not have any specific facilities for charging electric cars, but it is possible to charge at a regular socket for a fee of 150 DKK per day. The nearest electric car charging station is in Kinsarvik.
It takes about 10 minutes to drive to Mikkelparken in Kinsarvik.
Yes, all our cottages have their own parking spaces for our guests.

No, we only have drop-in camping here.
No, we sell cider at reception, but we have 5 cider producers in the immediate vicinity of the campsite and all of these offer tastings, cider walks, etc. See more info at tastehardanger.no
Yes, shuttlebusshardanger.no has several departures daily. This is a separate company and there is a link to their contact information on our website.
Unfortunately, we have limited space and parking is only available here for our guests. The nearest parking is possibly down in Lofthus town centre. (The shuttle bus picks up there too)
If no options appear after searching for the booking on the desired dates, it means all cabins are fully booked for that period.
